Hi, I’m Sophie — the face behind Cruising Creative.

I’m a wedding videographer based in County Fermanagh, where I live aboard a cosy 60ft narrowboat called Qisma with my husband, Josh. We’ve been living the boat life for almost four years, embracing the calm, the chaos, and everything in between.

Originally from County Armagh, I studied CGI & Visual Effects at university in Staffordshire, where I developed a strong foundation in camera work, storytelling, and design. While my path didn’t lead me into the VFX world, those skills have become the bedrock of my creative approach to filmmaking.

With over seven years of experience in video editing, marketing and content creation, I now specialise in capturing wedding days with a cinematic yet authentic style. I bring a calm, thoughtful presence behind the camera and work closely with each couple to create films that feel personal, emotional, and timeless.
